A List of Wishes
written in the Past Tense
Rachel Hollis swears by writing a list of 5 gratitudes followed up by at least 10 goals you’re working on ~~~BUT you write your goals as though you already did them. Then day by day you let this practice work magic over you.
So I did it.
It went something like…
Today I’m grateful for:
snuggles with my hubby
a morning cup with all my children
combining a starter for sourdough on my counter
a walk at dusk
waking up to a tidy home
Ten dreams I made happen:
I had a great time reading and discussing “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” with my hubby.
I made a beautiful anniversary date on our patio —unforgettable.
I let the school know of our upcoming plans so my child’s absence wouldn’t be a problem.
I posted on Sub-stack about my manuscript hobby.
I contacted a pelvic floor therapist.
I finished the course “On Narcissism” at Peterson Academy.
I worked in the present authoring suit of the self-authoring program.
I finished reading “The Ballad of the White Horse” and “Casti Canubii” and wrote quotes that glinted from both.
I was humble, honest, self-aware and found the reality of my ideal day.
I felt truly pretty and had the best Holy Week in my life yet.
I acknowledged the circles of community surrounding me and ‘let go’ inside God to shed my lie of loneliness on the cross of Christ’s Good Friday agony.
I am an exceptional mother.
I embody the playful authority I witnessed between Jordan and Tammy Peterson.
I metaphorically buried myself under stacks of words written in the deep here on Sub-stack with the expression of my list of wishes. Deus vult!
